Bourton Vale Equine Clinic is a large well equipped veterinary practice situated in the heart of the Cotswolds. We have 9 vets working from a purpose built centre midway between Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold (click here for directions).

The practice has been at the present site since 1986 and deals with all types of equines from top class TB breeding and racing stock to the most treasured child’s pony.

We provide a primary care service for clients throughout Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, south Warwickshire, north Wiltshire and east Worcestershire. The radius for primary care is about 40 miles from the practice premises.

In addition we provide referral surgical, diagnostic and inpatient facilities for many cases.

Our facilities include 14 stable inpatient facility, isolation box, operating theatre with 2 padded recovery boxes, digital radiography facility, scintigraphy, ultrasonography and full on-site laboratory as well as exercise menage and small convalescent turnout grass paddocks.

We pride ourselves on the fact that we deal with all types of horses and ponies as the Cotswolds is noted for the variety of horse activities from racing, dressage, eventing, show jumping, polo, TB and non-TB studs, hunting, endurance riding and driving.
